Our mission is to unify baseball in Duluth while working together to provide consistent experiences and opportunities for our players, regardless of their ability level or ability to pay. Through shared resources amongst the Duluth ISD 709 area, the organization hopes to bridge the baseball community to provide all levels of baseball, from our neighborhood house leagues all the way to our high schools and share in these successes.
2019 Rec State Champions - 14/15 Marshall
2019 Northland Big League Champions - 12/13 East Black
League teams at the 12/13 & 14/15 year old levels are divided between the high school boundary lines as Denfeld Baseball & East Baseball, with the approach of lining up with the high school programs (Marshall players use the high school boundary lines, but may have their own team based on the number of participants at an age level). Rosters are put together shortly after registration and player evaluations end. There are 2 divisions, 12/13U (6th/7th Grade) and 14/15U (8th/9th Grade) that play in the Northland Big League against other area teams. League teams at the 10/11U Majors level are put together in conjunction with the local associations (Western and Lake Park Baseball).
Duluth 709 Baseball coaches are registered and provided training through Trusted Coaches. Registration and training include:
The experience of our coaches vary from coaches new to youth baseball to coaches that have been involved in youth baseball for a lifetime. We encourage our coaches to share their experience and resources, be mentors to one another and share guidance and support.
