Duluth 709 Baseball is hosting player evaluations for all levels of play. Evaluations will take place at the Burns Wellness Commons  on the campus of the College of Saint Scholastica. The College has requested we share the following information with all who may be in attendance at evaluations during the week. Please read through the specifics below and review with your players as necessary.

 

- All participants must enter and exit through the main entrance of the Burns Wellness Commons.

 

- The check in table for all participants will be located on the lower track to the left of the carpeted area on the main level of the facility. There will be signs directing players and families to this location. We have been asked to keep the area by the main entry door clear from congestion for students and staff of the college. Please do not gather in this area.

 

- If you are dropping off your player and leaving, we ask that you drop them off at the front entrance and be mindful that space in that area is limited to only a few vehicles. Please keep this area accessible and do not wait for your player in this area for drop off or pick up.

 

- Parking is limited in the upper lot closest to the entrance to the facility while the College has new construction going on. If you are parking, please find an available lot on the lower side of the building. If this lot is full we ask that you park in the larger main parking lot near the entrance of campus and walk up to the facility.

 

****When parking on campus you must only use Lot 2 or 5. Parking is NOT allowed in Lot 3 or 4. Please see the map below for locations. ****

 

- The upper track, weight equipment, and workout machines are not to be used. We ask that you do not walk or exercise in the facility during evaluations.

 

- All participants and family members must stay in the field house area and should not wander into other areas of the building.

 

- The track mats on the field house floor are off limits and cannot be sat or climbed on during evaluations.

 

 

Duluth 709 Baseball coaches and administrators will be doing our best to monitor the facility use and to ensure that all the facility rules are followed. We value our relationship with St. Scholastica and other facilities we partner with to hold our events. It is important that we adhere to their rules and expectations during the week. Thank you for your attention to these items.

All players must check-in at the registration table when they arrive. They will be given a workout shirt upon arrival. This shirt must be worn at all evaluation sessions your player attends.

**Please do not arrive before 4pm**

 

Monday and Wednesday nights will be for Modified Players (12U & 13U Baseball Ages) as well as for Full Field Players (14U & 15U). Tuesday and Thursday nights will be for Majors players.

 

We ask that your player attends at least one of the two nights of evaluations. We encourage all players to attend both nights of workouts for their age group. These workouts operate a lot like a practice and are a good opportunity for all players to not only show us their skills, but to get important repetitions and training in as we get closer to the season.

4:30pm - 6:30 pm -- Mods Ages 12U and 13U - If your players Last Name begins with the letter K through letter Z.

7:00 pm - 9:00 pm -- Mods Ages 12U and 13U - If your players Last Name begins with the letter A through letter J. – All Full Field Players Ages 14U & 15U

Tuesday - March 11th

4:30 pm - 6:30 pm -- Majors Ages 9U, 10U and 11U - If your players Last Name begins with the letter A through letter K.

7:00 pm - 9:00 pm -- Majors Ages 9U, 10U and 11U - If your players Last Name begins with the letter L through letter Z.

Wednesday - March 12th

4:30 pm - 6:30 pm -- Mods Ages 12U and 13U - If your players Last Name begins with the letter A through letter H.  All Full Field Players Ages 14U & 15U

7:00 pm - 9:00 pm -- Mods Ages 12U and 13U - If your players Last Name begins with the letter J through letter Z.

Thursday - March 13th

4:30 pm - 6:30 pm -- Majors Ages 9U, 10U and 11U - If your players Last Name begins with the letter L through letter Z.

7:00 pm - 9:00 pm -- Majors Ages 9U, 10U and 11U - If your players Last Name begins with the letter A through letter K.

 

Saturday - March 15th

Make up session for ALL PLAYERS AND ALL AGES. For those who could not attend a session during the week.  10am - Noon.
